IN THE STUDIO

HANDS ON experience

DIRECTOR of the Sacred Space Studio / EverGreene Architectural Arts, Inc.

I have dedicated my career to beauty in the built environment, with a special focus on liturgical artistry. When I joined EverGreene in 2007 I became immersed in preservation, specialty contracting, and architectural art. Since 2013 I have specialized ecclesiastical art and architecture.

Spending hour upon hour in scores of churches, crawling around the reverse of the ceilings, pouring over historic precedents, puzzling over designs in the studio, diving into theology, praying, and discussing liturgical artistry with clergy, has been spectacular training in the vocabulary & grammar of ecclesiastical ornament.

EverGreene performs, design, creation of new artwork, conservation of historic artwork, plaster restoration, and decorative finishes in-house. As a business development executive I work closely with the client team in the pre-construction planning phases to establish the scope of work, how the new or renewed church will look and feel, what it will cost, and how to bring the vision to fruition.
